Happy International Yoga Day!

A very happy international yoga day to all of you! I don’t do yoga much now, but I used to practice power yoga earlier. Yoga has really made me flexible, strong and more focused and it is just so calming.

I wanted to learn how to do a headstand, so I started learning it. At first, I wasn’t able to do it at all, but I eventually started getting the hang of it. I would often fall or get hurt, but I never gave up. I let my frustration drive me to success and it worked!

What yoga has taught me is, that you have to face lots of problems while learning (you might fall too, but you need to stand up again), because it’s a slow process… you just need to be focused and consistent towards reaching your goal.

Whenever I go into a headstand, I want to say, “My world is not upside down, yours is. I go into a headstand to look at the world from a different, more positive perspective.”

I recommend all of you to practice yoga. It’s your choice what kind of yoga you want to do, but once you start doing it, you feel better and enlightened. It is really peaceful!

Very nicely written Kamya .Yes yoga teaches us so many things in life apart from keeping our body and soul refreshed and balanced it also teaches us so many attributes in life to build a better personality and make us a better human being .To have a clear vision and focus on our goals .Keep it up .You are an excellent student and above all you are a good human being God Bless You .

    1. Oh, that’s great! Right now, I think it’s not possible to go to a proper yoga centre, so I suggest you learn from Youtube or take any online course. I haven’t ever tried an online course, but I can suggest some youtube channels…
      If you don’t find these helpful, you may look for other videos too.
